COP-WIN Features and Benefits
- Permits Ensemble Averages over either user-selected Time Intervals or
user-specified number of Cardiac Cycles in order to effectively filter spurious
noise and artifact.
- Contains a Continuous Time Interval Acquisition Mode of operation where data
acquisition and processing is automatically initiated at specified time intervals.
The user may optionally set a time limit for this mode where the system will
acquire data at specified time intervals for a fixed length of time.
- COP-WIN also offers a continuous non-stop mode where Ensemble Average files
are acquired continuously without any inter-sample time interval. The
duration of the Ensemble Average (EA) files may be specified in seconds or
cardiac cycles. The duration of the total acquisition time may be
specified as a time value or a specified number of EA files. In
addition, COP-WIN offers a "Block Mode" where a specified number of
"Block" of files may be acquired at a specified interval or on user
command.
- The system includes a Manually Initiated Acquisition Mode (One-Shot Mode), useful
for synchronizing data acquisition with external events (such as BP data
acquisition).
- BP Data Acquisition: The COP-WIN/HRV program directly interfaces to the SunTech Medical
Tango BP monitor and will automatically incorporate the Tango acquired BP
values into the cardiac performance data without the use of a remote BP sensor
or the requirement of post acquisition entering of BP values into the COP data
files.
- COP-WIN provides a Remote Start Input connector on the Signal Input Unit (SIU)
that allows an external apparatus. [ For users who do not own a Tango (or
compatible BP monitor), this input may be used for BP synchronization using the COP-BPSW blood pressure
sensor to automatically
initiate an ensemble average when the blood pressure cuff inflates. BP
values must be edited into the cardiac performance data post acquisition.]
- COP-WIN contains a Dual Channel Oscilloscope Window that permits the user to easily
view any of the signals coming into the system. This is useful for checking the signal
quality from patient electrodes and sensors and for trouble shooting the impedance cardiograph
and COP-WIN system operation. Digital Input filter options may also
be selected using this window.
- Blood Pressure Entry and Display Window that permits rapid and efficient BP data entry
and editing independent of the ensemble averages editing window (for users that
are not using SunTech Medical
Tango BP monitor).
- The COP-WIN offers the user the option to pre-enter electrode distance
values for several subject postures and permits easy selection and indication
of posture changes that may be made during data acquisition.
- Has the ability to automatically Fix the Q-Wave cursor placement representing
Q-Wave onset of the EKG ensemble averaged (EA) waveform during the editing of distorted or
difficult EKG signals.
- Offers the capability to Edit acquired data while displaying the EA waveforms immediately
following acquisition.
- The Data-Scan window has been revised again to provide much easier editing of the
cardiac cycle data points that comprise an ensemble average by using the mouse to mark or
unmark the data points for exclusion from cardiac performance indices computations.
See instant resultant effect on computed indices.
- COP-WIN contains an improved data acquisition and displaying window with a dual channel
oscilloscope for observing the real-time impedance signals during data acquisition.
Version 6.xx has instantaneous Heart Rate Value display, an R-Wave indicator
and continuous PEP display.
- The user can quickly switch between the Continuous Time Interval Acquisition Mode and the
One-Shot Acquisition Mode at any time during acquisition by simply clicking the desired Mode
option.
- COP-WIN has the capability of analyzing Ambulatory Impedance Cardiography Data from the New
AIM-8 wearable ambulatory impedance monitor by using it’s built-in AIM-8 Data File Conversion
option.
- COP-WIN Edit window offers post digital filtering of cardiac cycle
waveforms which permits greater data recovery when editing EA data that
contain noise interference (electrical, exercise, stimulator, etc).
- Respiration: COP-WIN has the ability to acquire and process
respiration data during an ensemble average measurement period. The
acquisition window continuously displays respiration data (Breaths per minute
and Frequency in Hertz) for easy subject monitoring. [Requires respiration
transducer and amplifier.]
- HRV data acquisition: Permits the user to quickly and easily
acquire continuous or periodic R to R interval data for HRV analysis.
The HRV analysis may also be directly executed from with in the COP-WIN Edit
window using Nevrokard HRV analysis software (sold separately).
- Creates ASCII data files of the computed cardiac performance indices in the new
COP-WIN format. The new COP-WIN format allows the user to
specify which data parameter appear in the ASCII file. These ASCII files are useful with
other analysis programs (i.e. SAS, EXCEL, etc.).
- COP-WIN has the ability to Graph (and to print the graphs) the profiles (trends)
of 13 different cardiac performance indices as a function of the number of measurements.
- The system Calibration process is easier and more flexible than ever before with the
new calibration window. It involves only two clicks of the mouse, and the window contains a
two-channel oscilloscope that displays the calibration signals form the impedance cardiograph.
- COP-WIN contains an impedance cardiograph Compatibility Setup Chart that allows custom
configuration with any impedance cardiograph.
- COP-WIN works with Windows 2000 and XP operating systems! (XP Home is not
recommended for USB version of COP-WIN)
